Suncoast Ecologic was established in 2006. We specialise in the removal of water weeds in waterways and dams throughout the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas.
We also offer maintenance programs to recreational facilities, golf courses, resorts, housing developments, local councils and private land owners. Once controlled, management of these undesirable water plants on a maintenance program is recommended.
We can assist you if you are experiencing problems in identifying the invasive plant choking your water body.
Common problem water plants include; Salvinia, Water Lettuce, Water Hyacinth, Azolla, Water Lilies, Cabomba and Algae.
We are well equipped to remove these weeds using mechanical, biological and/or chemical methods.

Removal of the weed from the system benefits the waterbody by reducing the amount of plant matter or potential nutrients decomposing which provides food for aquatic weed such as Salvinia, Water Hyacinth, Cabomba, Water Primrose.
