Suncoast Ecologic was established in 2006. We specialise in the removal of water weeds in waterways and dams throughout the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas.
We also offer maintenance programs to recreational facilities, golf courses, resorts, housing developments, local councils and private land owners. Once controlled, management of these undesirable water plants on a maintenance program is recommended.

Mechanical Control – Wherever practical, we use mechanical methods to remove as much aquatic weed as possible. Physically removing weed from the waterbody reduces the amount of decomposing plant material and excess nutrients that can contribute to the regrowth of invasive aquatic weeds such as Salvinia, Water Hyacinth, Cabomba and Water Primrose.
