MOBITRAC Amphibious Craft
The Mobitrac is an amphibious machine with the capability of harvesting & removing aquatic vegetation from waterways, wetlands, dams and irrigation channels.
The Mobitrac has the ability to walk on the land as well as float in the water. This means it is capable of stockpiling the removed vegetation on the banks to safely break down and be used as mulch or be removed if necessary. The Mobitrac has multiple different attachments. They include a 3m basket for bulking out large volumes of floating weed, a fine mesh basket for small floating weeds like Azolla and Duckweed, a horizonal cutter head for cutting ground anchored weeds and a vertical cutter head for cutting apart floating weed mats.

Aquatic weeds represent a significant amount of biomass that if not removed contribute to the siltation, nutrient release and eutrophication of water bodies.
